Opportunities for Graduate Studies in Ecological Engineering

The Ecological Engineering group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science (CEEGS) at the Ohio State University has funding available for two Master¡¯s candidates in Ecological Engineering beginning Winter Quarter 2003. Students will work on a project in dam removal and river restoration in coastal watersheds and will be part of a team involved in field measurements of flows, geomorphology, fish habitat, as well as modeling using a GIS based river model. A B.S. degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering is highly desirable, but other backgrounds, such as oceanography, geology, math, physics, will also be considered.
